How to find help

No matter whether you think your problem is a big problem or a small problem, or even if you’re not sure if it’s really a problem at all, you have the right to get help and talk to somebody that you trust. Sometimes this can be hard to do, because maybe you aren’t sure who you trust, or you don’t know who to talk to.

Sometimes things can be embarrassing to talk about, or even they might make you sad to talk about them. That’s ok; it’s understandable that sometimes it can be hard to talk about things. It can be hard to know who to talk to about something, like if somebody is hurting you and you want them to stop, or if something is making you worry.

Here in Childline, there is always somebody you can talk to. We answer the phones 24 hours a day every single day, and although sometimes you might have to wait a while to get to talk to someone, there will be somebody you can talk to. We are here to listen to you, and we don’t ever judge anything you have to say to us, no matter what it is. We will always believe you, and we think that you are important and that you should be listened to, because we think that what you have to say is important.
