Thank you for your question. So, you’re a bisexual and you’re attracted to a lesbian, and you want to know how you knew.  

Do you mean how did you know she was a lesbian? Is this someone you spend a lot of time with? Did you feel like you both were flirting? Sometimes it can be difficult to guess how someone else is feeling and it might be best to ask them directly. Is this something you both would have spoken about in the past? If this is something you would like to chat with them about be mindful how you do so, as some people may not be comfortable chatting about their sexuality and/or feelings around it. It’s important that you both are comfortable having this conversation.  

Or would you be asking how did you know you were attracted to this person? What do you mean when you say you are attracted to them, are you attracted to their physical appearance (like the way they look) or their personality (who they are as a person, someone who’s funny, outgoing, a good listener, etc.) and what does that mean to you? There is no right answer as to why you might find someone attractive, it’s a personal preference and only you know who you are or are not attracted to.
