No one deserves to be treated with disrespect or harmed in any way, especially by someone who is supposed to provide love and support. It’s completely understandable that you’re feeling upset and unsure of what to do in this situation.

You mentioned that your mom’s husband curses, swears, and sometimes hits you. This is not ok, and it’s not your fault. Nobody has the right to treat you this way. It might feel scary to speak up, but it’s important to tell a trusted adult about what’s happening. This could be a teacher, counsellor, another family member, or another adult you feel comfortable talking to.
