It sounds like you’re feeling jealous of some friendships; sometimes different things can trigger different feelings for us.

 

It’s great that you’re aware of how you’re feeling about this. Only when we’re aware of how something makes us feel can we address it. Please know that whatever you’re feeling is absolutely ok. It can be a good idea to take some time to think about what is it that is making you jealous. Looking into your jealousy can help you try and find out the cause of it.

 

Once you’ve pinpointed what’s making you feel this way, we suggest taking some time to think of what you can do about it.

 

Here are some other ideas you may find helpful:

. Work on building your self-confidence and self-esteem, as jealousy can sometimes stem from feeling insecure.

. Engage in activities or hobbies where you can meet new people and develop your own friendships.

. Remember the importance of communication in friendships and how expressing feelings of jealousy in a constructive way can strengthen relationships.

 

It’s great to talk about how we’re feeling. Do you have a trusted adult in your life whom you can talk to about your feelings? Maybe a parent, another family member, friend, or teacher.
