Dad beats me

Your Question

I am 13 and my dad still hits me and beats me with a belt for taking a laptop to text my friends that are boys and girls but I have all that taken away because I did something with a guy over 3 months ago and I’m not allowed to have anything to talk to boys on, should my dad still hit me for that? and should I be able to get a phone?
