You asked why no one is on the calls. We are sorry you couldn’t get through to anyone on our phone line. You have the right to be heard and to be listened to and we wouldn’t want you to feel excluded at all.
From time to time, we experience technical issues or need to update our systems which may cause a delay in our Childline Team answering your chats or calls. Other times, there might be a high volume of calls and it takes a little longer for you to get through. We are sorry that you were waiting and that your call wasn’t answered. It’s important to know that Childline wants to talk to you, and we are here to listen to whatever is on your mind.
We also have a text: 50101 and webchat service on www.childline.ie. You can register there to chat with us if like. These services are also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Of course, you can always give us a call via phone: 1800,66,66 66 and we hope you do call again.
