Here at ISPCC Childline we provide a range of services directly to children and families and we advocate for change to enhance the lives of children in Ireland.  

Our Childline Listening Service is Ireland’s 24-hour national listening service for all children and young people (up to and including the age of 18). It is private, confidential, and non-judgemental and can be contacted for free from anywhere in Ireland. Children contact Childline to talk about any issue on their mind. Some children who contact Childline may feel upset, or isolated, while others simply contact Childline to chat about their day or share their hopes and dreams. Childline can be contacted by any child or young person by phoning 1800 66 66 66 or chatting online at www.childline.ie (by clicking the orange Live Chat tab)  24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our services to children, young people and families include one-to-one therapeutic support services, Digital Mental Health and Wellbeing Programmes, the resilience-building Smart Moves programme for children and young people making the transition from primary to secondary school, the Shield Anti-bullying programme and more. Support is also available for parents and carers, through services including our Parenting Support Line and Parenting Hub www.ispcc.ie/parenting-hub/ .

So, as you can see, there are many supports that ISPCC Childline provide for children, young people, families and communities.
