Under Irish law, it is illegal to send explicit content or nudes of someone who is under the age of 18. Even if you take a nude of yourself and send it to someone, it is considered distribution of child abuse imagery.
Another issue is that a subscriber could take explicit content that they’ve paid for and share it without the content creator’s permission. This act, known as image-based sexual abuse, is now illegal in Ireland under a law known as Coco’s Law.Â
While OnlyFans can be a way to earn an income, it is not suitable for someone under the age of 18. There could be long-term consequences if explicit photos of you are uploaded to OnlyFans and then stolen because once they’re online, they’re very hard to remove.
