Answer

Hey there, welcome to Ask Alex,

We’re so glad you reached out with your question. It sounds like you’re going through a really tough time, and feeling like your friends don’t like you can be incredibly isolating. It’s completely natural to want a fresh start, to find a place where you feel truly accepted and valued. We want you to know that your feelings are valid, and you’re not alone in this.

Thinking about switching schools is a big decision, and it’s okay to feel uncertain about whether it’s the right move for you. It’s important to take some time to really consider what you hope to achieve by making this change. Are there certain activities or interests you’d like to explore in a new environment? Do you think a different school might offer you the support and acceptance you’re looking for? You might like to have a read of this article www.childline.ie/moving-schools/.
