Answer

Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing what you’re going through. It’s incredibly brave of you to take this step, and we want you to know that you’re not alone. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

It’s concerning to hear about the threats and the recent incident with your former supplier. Feeling scared and threatened is absolutely not ok. It’s important to seek help from trusted adults in your life, such as a parent, teacher, or school counsellor. They can offer guidance and support to help ensure your safety.

If you ever feel in immediate danger, don’t hesitate to contact the Gardaí. Your safety is paramount, and the authorities can take steps to protect you from harm. Additionally, you might consider reaching out to local support services that specialise in helping individuals in similar situations. They can provide you with practical advice and emotional support. one such service is the HSE drug and alcohol helpline www.hse.ie/eng/services/list/5/addiction/drugshivhelpline/

Remember, you don’t have to face this alone. Talking to someone you trust can make a big difference, and there are people ready to help. If you feel you can’t talk to somebody you know just yet, you can always call the Childline Team. We are open 24 hours a day, every day, and you can contact us for free at 1800 66 66 66, or by Messenger at www.Childline.ie (just click on the purple chat icon). Our service is non-judgmental and confidential. We can help you explore which options are available to you.

You are never alone. We are here for you, to support you and explore your options with you. Stay safe and take care,
Alex
