We’re really sorry you’re feeling this way. It’s tough when you feel like someone at school, especially someone who’s supposed to support you, might not be on your side. Feeling like your school’s special needs assistant (SNA) doesn’t like you can be incredibly isolating and hurtful. It’s important to remember that your feelings are valid, and it’s okay to reach out for support when you’re going through something like this.

Sometimes, it can be hard to understand why someone might seem like they’re not on your side. It’s possible that there could be misunderstandings or miscommunications at play. Maybe there’s something bothering the SNA that has nothing to do with you, or perhaps they’re not aware of how their actions are affecting you. It might be helpful to try and have a calm and respectful conversation with them about how you’re feeling.

However, if you’re not comfortable doing that, or if you’ve tried and it hasn’t helped, remember that you’re not alone. There are people who care about you and want to help. Whether it’s a trusted teacher, a school counsellor, a family member, or even an outside support like Childline, reaching out for help and talking about what you’re going through can make a big difference.
