Sorry to hear that you’ve been feeling stressed about the expectations your parents have. Parents can often want the best for their child which can sometimes lead to them having high expectations.  

While we’re not sure what the exact expectations are when it comes to your situation, it’s common for parents to expect things like good school results, doing well in extra activities like music or sports and sometimes parents might like to see a teenager get a part-time job to make their own money.
