Thanks for reaching out, with your question.  It sounds like you’re having a difficult time at the moment. 

You say that you have quit school because your dad is having a affair with your English teacher. It’s not ok that you feel you have to quit school because of this, especially as school is something you enjoy.  Your dad and teacher have put you in a very difficult situation, which is very unfair of them. You have the right to your education, and it is the law that you complete the Junior Cycle of secondary school, minimum.

You mention that they have asked you to keep it a secret. It’s important to remember that your dad, mum and English teacher are adults. They are responsible for their own decisions, whether they are good decisions or bad.  You are not responsible for their happiness or sadness either. If your mum does find out and is upset or angry, it will be because of your dad’s behaviour, and nothing to do with you.

It sounds like this is having an impact on you, and we are concerned to hear that.  We believe that talking to someone we trust can help with our concerns and worries, and help us get the support we need.  Is there someone you trust whom you could open up to?  You could even practice what you want to say to start the conversation; although you have done a great job telling us.
