My best friend is getting doxed

My best friend is currently in an alot of drama and getting doxxed and I’m really worried. Im not sure on what I can do to help Alex do u have any suggestions on how I can help?

How lucky is your best friend to have you supporting her! We are  really sorry to hear that your friend is going through such a tough time. It’s totally understandable that you’re feeling worried and want to help. First off, make sure to let her know that you’re there for her. Sometimes just having someone to talk to can make a big difference.
 
Encourage your friend to reach out to a trusted adult, like a teacher, school counsellor, or a family member, who can provide support and guidance. It’s important to involve responsible adults who can help address the situation appropriately and promptly.
 

Additionally, remind your friend about the importance of online safety. Encourage her to block or report anyone who’s causing harm, and to update privacy settings on her social media accounts. If the doxing involves personal information, advise her to contact the platform administrators to report the issue. tacklebullying.ie/is a website that has lots of information on bullying and cyberbullying, and offers lots of resources.

 
Lastly, emphasise the significance of self-care. Encourage your friend to take breaks from social media if needed and engage in activities she enjoys. Remind her that she doesn’t have to face this alone, and there are people who care about her well-being. If things escalate, don’t hesitate to involve the Gardaí.
