Your Question

Can you help me?

Answer

Hi there, thank you for getting in touch with us here at Ask Alex with your question.

You’re wondering if we can help you. We hope so!

We’re not exactly sure what you would like help with, but we will let you know a little bit about some of our services, and that way you can see if any of them would be useful for what you’d like help with.

We have a listening service, where you can talk about anything that’s on your mind. It’s your space, and we’re here to listen to whatever you would like to talk about. You don’t have to have a problem to talk to us, but if there is something impacting you, we’re here to try and help you figure out the best option for you. You can get in touch with us via our webchat (here on childline.ie, by clicking on the purple Messenger circle) or via the phone (1800 66 66 66). We’re here every day, 24 hours a day.

We have lots of articles around a variety of different topics on our website Childline.ie – how you feel, relationships with family and friends, school, staying safe online, you name it! Perhaps you could have a search for the topic that’s on your mind and see if there’s some content there that could be of help.

We also have some programmes that are specifically for young people experiencing anxiety. You can take a look at them here: www.ispcc.ie/guided-digital-programmes/. If you think this could be something you would like to sign up for, your parent/carer can apply by filling out a form.

We hope some of our services can be a support to you, and we would love to hear from you again. You can get in touch with us anytime, even to just give our chat or phone service a try, we are always here for you.

Take care of yourself,

Alex
