It’s  very brave of you to contact us as we know, it’s not always easy for young people to talk about things going on at home.  

We are sorry to hear that you would like Childline to lock your dad away. We would be a bit concerned about why you would like this to happen and hope that you are safe. You have a right to be safe and protected from harm. Your feelings are valid, and it’s important to address them.  

We are wondering if you would consider reaching out to a trusted adult to chat to them about why you are feeling like this. Talking to someone non-judgmental can provide clarity and help you through this challenging situation. Whether it’s a family member, friend, or helpline, we think it would be beneficial to ask for assistance.
