I have to go to juvenile detention because I sexually harassed a girl. I’m extremely annoyed and upset I really don’t wanna be locked up, is there anything I can do to not go there?

We all have the right to be safe and protected from any harm. There are laws in place to ensure this. Harassment can be hurtful and harmful and can have devastating effects on people who are victim of this. 

You say you don’t want to be locked up and that is understandable. It sounds like from what you have said that this annoys you and has upset you. Have you thought of any ways that you might be able to avoid going to juvenile detention?  

You have been very honest telling us about this and we know it’s not always easy to talk about our feelings and worries. Do you have an adult in your life that you trust that you could talk to about how you are feeling and how you are annoyed and upset about what you might be facing? This trusted adult may be able to help you process your feelings around going into juvenile detention.
