Live Chat is our instant messaging service that is open 24/7. You don’t have to login, you just go to childline.ie and click the Live Chat link to start a chat. 

To end the chat, you can just close the tab down using the line at the top right corner of the box you are chatting in or click the 3 dots at the top left corner and close the tab that way. You can end the chat at anytime you want to and contact again whenever your ready. There is no history of previous chats, so each time you log on, you begin a new chat. 

We are available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also contact us by phone on 1800 666666. We would love to hear more about what is going on for you. You can chat about your home situation, or you can chat about anything else, the choice is yours. We are not here to judge you and offer you a safe space to chat.
