We’re really sorry to hear about what happened to you at the park. It sounds like those boys were being really thoughtless. Getting squirted with water guns might seem like just fun to them, but it can be really upsetting and even hurtful, especially when it happens more than once. It’s totally understandable that you’re feeling frustrated and unsure about what to do next.

 

You’re definitely not alone in dealing with situations like this. It’s great that you’re considering your options and thinking about talking to their parents. Sometimes, letting an adult know what’s going on can help put a stop to behaviour like this. However, it’s important to think about what you feel comfortable with and what you think will make the situation better for you. It might be helpful to talk with an adult you know yourself first, and get their advice about how to go about talking to the boys’ parents.
