It sounds like you and your Dad are struggling to communicate right now, and this is resulting in fights between you both. Was there ever a time in your life when you felt like you and your Dad got along well?

 

What would it be like for you to discuss this with your Dad? Could you suggest a time when you are both calm to talk and try to come to an agreement about how you could address what is causing your fights?

 

We are concerned to hear that you are finding your relationship with your Dad so hard and that you are fighting so much. You have a right to live in a calm environment and to have a supportive Dad.

 

Would we be right in saying that your child-father relationship is a bit strained at the moment? It is normal for any relationship to have ups and downs, and all relationships take some effort. Would you like to have a better relationship with your Dad? If so, do you think you could think about ways in which you could come together to rebuild your relationship? Sometimes spending time together or finding a mutual hobby or activity you both enjoy can help repair your relationship.
