I have 5 minutes left of screen time to type this, And i just need my online friends. but my dad deleted all of them. My friends could confort me right now. Its his fault I don’t feel comfortable. Hi, thanks for contacting us here at Ask Alex,

It’s brave of you to look help. It looks like you are really struggling with feelings of anger and you don’t have contact with your friends because your dad deleted them from your online game. It can be so difficult to keep calm when we are feeling the opposite of this in our bodies. Breathing exercises can help calm our bodies down in moments of anger. We write about some of these techniques on the Childline website. Here is a video that we hope you find helpful www.childline.ie/video-breathing-and-relaxation-exercises-to-help-you-release-your-worries/.

Finding healthy outlets for your emotions, like journaling or engaging in physical activity when you can feel your anger coming on, can also be helpful. It’s okay to feel upset, but it’s important to find constructive ways to manage those feelings. Don’t hesitate to reach out to trusted adults, such as a school counsellor or family member, for support. You’re not alone, and there are people who care about your well-being. If your anger persists or worsens, receiving professional help can provide additional support and strategies for coping.

You can contact Childline if you would like to chat some more about what is going on for you. Childline is a free, confidential service for children and young people under the age of 18 that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Our free-phone number is 1800 66 66 66 or you can use Live Chat on our website www.childline.ie.

Remember, you deserve help and support in coping with your anger. You do not have to go through this on your own, we are here for you. Take care of yourself,
Alex
