Swim on your period

Your Question

can you swim on your period

Hi there!
First of all, thank you for reaching out with your question. It’s completely normal to wonder about things like this, and it’s great that you’re seeking answers. The good news is, yes, you can absolutely swim while on your period! Many people do it, and with the right preparation, it can be a comfortable experience for you too.
Using a tampon can be really helpful when swimming. This option is designed to be worn internally, so it won’t interfere with your activities and can help prevent any leaks. If you’re not used to using tampons, it might take a little practice, but many find them very effective and convenient for swimming.
It’s also perfectly ok to have some concerns or feel nervous about swimming on your period. Remember, your comfort is what’s most important. If you’re more comfortable taking it easy during your period, that’s completely fine too. Listening to your body and doing what feels right for you is key.
