Hello, welcome to Ask Pat.
You say that you are getting bullied about your body and you feel like you can’t talk about it. We understand that opening up and talking about how we feel and what’s going on for us can be really difficult to do, so thank you for reaching out to Ask Pat.
No one has the right to bully you about your body or anything else. You have the right to feel safe and be happy and it sounds like you are going through a tough time at the moment. It’s important to remember that we are all unique and that bodies come in all different shapes and sizes.
Childline has some written information about bullying and some about your body that you might find helpful which can be found at https://www.childline.ie/info-advice/. There are also other ways to contact Childline if you don’t feel comfortable calling us, such as by text on 50101 or through online chat by visiting the website at https://www.childline.ie. We understand that it can be difficult to find the words to explain how we are feeling, but remember that Childline is a non-judgemental listening service, and that we would really love to talk with you about what’s going on for you at the moment.
Thank you for reaching out, and we look forward to having a chat with you,
