You are asking if you have to move house if you go in to foster care.
There are different types of foster care, day foster care, emergency foster care, short-term foster care and long-term foster care.
All of the fostering situations require you to move house, except day foster care.
There are many reasons why a young person would have to enter foster care, and there are many young people who are living in foster care because living with their own family is not right for them at that time.
