Thank you so much for asking such an important question. Asking questions such as this or sharing our thoughts and feelings can be really tough; at Childline, we believe that talking makes us stronger. Well done for being so brave!  

It sounds like you are wondering if Alex is a boy or a girl. Alex is non-binary and doesn’t see themselves as either male or female. We believe that gender does not define anyone. What do you think about this?
