Introducing my boyfriend to mom

Your Question

I am planning to introduce my boyfriend in my graduation, but I am afraid of doing it because of my mom. She told us before that she would let me be in a relationship 2 years after I graduated she meant like 2 years stable in my life. I don’t think I cannot wait that long enough to introduce my boyfriend. We’ve been dating for almost 3 years now. Mg relatives are okay with it, it’s just that my mother I’m terrified of.

It sounds like you and your mother might not be seeing eye to eye when it comes to your boyfriend or relationships in general. You have been with your boyfriend for 3 years, but your mother doesn’t know about him? That sounds like it might have been difficult to keep it a secret from her, but it’s great that you now feel ready to introduce him to others in your life.
In certain situations, people can get upset when they learn of something unexpected, such as their child being in a relationship. However, it may be possible to have a constructive conversation about this with your mother. You have been in a long relationship and deserve to be happy with a partner of your choosing. You mentioned that other relatives are ok with it, so maybe you can get some help, advice, or a bit of backup from them.
