If you’re thinking you don’t want to live anymore, it’s important that you know that there are other ways to deal with these overwhelming feelings. You have the right to ask for help, to be listened to and to get support.

It may help you feel better to share your feelings with someone you trust.  It can also help to get support from a counsellor or doctor who has experience in helping young people who have thought about ending their life. If you’ve been thinking about talking to someone and are not sure how to go about it, you can always ring Childline.  We know it can be tough to know what to say and we’ll give you the space you need to talk. No one needs to go through difficult times alone and many young people have got through hard times with help and support.
