Answer

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Childline.

Nobody has the right to hurt anyone else in any way. Everybody has the right to feel safe, in their home and at school.

If you know of someone who is being abused, you like them, have the right to get support. Getting support can start by talking to a grown up/adult that you trust and feel comfortable talking to.

If you cannot think of someone that you can talk to right now, you can phone Childline on 1800 666 666 or you can use our Online Services; WebChat through our Childline website www.childline.ie or our SMS service on 53101. Your friend can also contact Childline at any of the services just listed.

Take care,
Pat
