I have been struggling to cope with pain everyday due to a couple of injuries but I don’t want to tell my parents because they will think I don’t want to do sports. What do I do ?

Firstly, you are very brave in reaching out to ask this question and thank you for sharing this with Ask Alex. When you say that you are in pain due to injuries, we are not sure if you mean sports related or something more serious. If you are struggling to cope with pain everyday you have the right to see your GP for advice. Â
You also mention that you are afraid to tell your parents about this pain in case they think you don’t want to do sports.
