I’m stressed for no reason. I have a happy life but I feel constantly stressed.

Thank you so much for reaching out to us with how you are feeling. We know
it can be a hard things to do and you have been so brave in telling us. 

You have said you feel stressed for no reason, and you have a happy life.
Firstly, we are glad to hear that you have a happy life. Emotions such as 
stress and anxiety can often be hard to understand, especially when we feel we should be happy and grateful.

Have you spoken to anyone about how you are feeling? Maybe a friend, family
member or another trusted person in your life? They may be able to help
identify support or approaches in managing and understanding this stress as
they can help with providing an outside perspective. Stress is a normal
emotion and everyone experiences it at some stage in their life. Some stress
can be good as it can motivate or inspire us, but  too much stress is bad and can impact your physical
health as well as your emotional wellbeing. You have the right for support in
managing this, if you feel the need.

One thins to consider is that sometimes what stress feels like can be
misread as to what is anxiety. Here at ISPCC, we have a program called Space From Anxiety, designed for 14–18-year-olds experiencing anxiety. It teaches you different tools and skills to help manage and overcome your anxiety. You can make a self-referral with the consent of your parent/carer, school, or GP.
