Your Question
I’m scared I will get lost in secondary school
Answer
Hi there,
Thank you so much for getting in touch with us about how you are feeling, we are so glad you reached out.It is completely normal to feel scared or nervous about starting secondary school. It’s a new place, with new people and lots of things will be different than primary school. What is important is that you remember is that everyone in your year is in the exact same boat as you.
Have you spoken to anyone about how you are feeling? If you speak to a parent or guardian they may be able to help organise to go into school early to get a sense of the place. Teachers are also well aware of students feeling worried about getting lost so you can also ask an adult if you are unsure about where you are meant to be going.
