Answer

Hey there, thanks for reaching out to Ask Alex,

We want you to know that it’s completely okay to feel the way you do. Dealing with family conflicts can be tough, especially when your mother’s mood swings affect you. It’s important to recognise that you’re not alone in this struggle. Many young people face similar challenges, and it’s okay to reach out for support.

We’re sorry to hear about the issues with your phone. Losing that connection can make everything feel even more overwhelming. Remember, your feelings are valid, and it’s okay to express them. If you feel comfortable, consider talking to a trusted friend, teacher, or counsellor about what you’re going through.

Your mental health is very important, and taking care of it is essential. If you’re finding it difficult to cope, consider seeking professional help. There are counsellors, therapists, and helplines available to provide support and guidance. You are never alone in facing these challenges, and there are people who care about your well-being. Here is an article from the Childline website that may be helpful to you www.childline.ie/six-things-you-need-to-maintain-good-mental-health/.
