You are looking for someone to talk to, so it is great that you have reached out looking to discuss what’s going on for you. Our Ask Alex service is a confidential space to put out questions on your thoughts, feelings or experiences that you are currently going through. The service does not give an answer straight away to questions as different questions get published on our website at different times and dates. 

If you are looking for someone to talk to it is important to see who in your life would be someone you trust and can turn to for help or advice. This could be a family member, or teacher or an adult in your life that you feel comfortable linking with.  

We also have a service again which is private and confidential in which you can avail of if you require support. You are very welcome to give us a call at Childline on 1800 66 66 66 or by clicking the orange Live Chat button on our website www.childline.ie, any time of the day or night. This service is open all day and all night, 365 days a year. You can talk about as much or as little as you want to.  We can help you come up with options that are available for you.
