Thank you so much for reaching out, we know that it cannot have been an easy to do. We are sorry to hear that you tried to end your life and that you feel this pain isn’t going away. Things must be really tough for you to be feeling so much pain that you felt your only way to get rid of the pain was to end your life. 

It sounds like your parents really care for you and also want to get rid of this pain for you while also keeping you here with them and bring you back to good mental health. This is really positive and hopeful. You have said that you hope to go to a therapist again, is there anything you would like to be different this time that you think would be helpful? 

You have the right to mental health support and to recover from this. We hope you are able to get the support you need and continue to talk to a therapist and your parents, especially on the dark days. Recovery isn’t a straightforward road, there will be good days and bad days. It is important to talk to those around you when things are both good and bad. You are important and so are your feelings. 

You may also find it helpful to reach out to Pieta House. Regardless of one’s age, Pieta House has one common goal where no-one should feel so alone or so afraid that suicidal ideation or self-harming becomes an option they choose.
