You are asking what you should do if you feel the urge to cut yourself. 

We are concerned to hear you feel the need to self-harm. Well done on reaching out and seeking help. You are brave to do so. 

You have a right to be happy and feel safe, and you have the right to be listened to and be heard. Have you spoken to an adult in your life about why you need to cut yourself? This adult could be a parent, guardian, friend, teacher or school counsellor. It is important for your mental well-being that you get the help and support that you deserve and to talk about why you feel you might want to harm yourself. How would you feel talking to your GP? You do have the right to medical advice and to seek support from a counsellor too if this is what you need. Know You can always contact ChildLine when you feel the urge to cut, we are here to listen and chat to you 24 hours a day. 

You do not have to go through this alone. There are organisations which can offer help and support to you. One such organisation is Their website may help you understand what is going on for you.
