We’re really sorry to hear that you’re going through such a tough time. It’s important to remember that you’re not alone, and there are people who want to help.

It’s clear that you’re dealing with a difficult family situation, and it’s sad to hear that you’ve been struggling with depression. It’s important to know that you do have options. First, consider reaching out to a trusted adult, like a teacher, school counsellor, or another family member who can provide emotional support and guidance. have a look at this article from the Childline website, it might be helpful for you www.childline.ie/how-to-live-with-a-parent-who-has-anger-issues/. You have the right to seek medical and professional help. Speaking with a mental health professional, like a therapist or counsellor, can be incredibly helpful in understanding and managing your feelings. Remember, there are professionals who specialise in helping young people like you, and they can provide you with coping strategies and support. Pieta House is one such organisation, you can find their website here www.pieta.ie/.

If you ever feel like you can’t talk to someone you know just yet, you can always call the Childline Team at 1800 66 66 66 or reach out through Live Chat at www.Childline.ie. Our services are non-judgmental and confidential. You are never alone, and there are people available to listen and explore your options with you.
