Your Question

Am I Stupid

Hi there, you are very welcome to Ask Alex.

No, you are not stupid. Everyone learns at their own pace, and you’re doing great. Intelligence comes in many forms, and we are sure you have your own unique strengths. Everyone has areas where they excel, and we can work on things that might be a bit challenging. It’s okay to find some things difficult; that’s how we learn and grow.

What matters most is that you’re trying your best. Effort is what leads to improvement. Learning is a process. That’s what’s important. You might find some things challenging, but there are so many things you’re good at. Why not make a list of all the things you are good at and celebrate those!

You have unique talents and abilities. We all do. It’s important to talk about how you feel. If something is challenging, you can ask someone for help, and work on it together.

You can always reach out to Childline if you feel you would like to talk through things a little more.
