Hi, you are so welcome to Ask Pat. Thank you for contacting us.

It sounds to us that you are going through a lot at the moment so thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings with us. We are sorry to hear that you feel that feeling worthless and weak and scared of what would happen if you were to tell anyone about those feelings. We are also worried that you would be thinking of taking your life multiple times per day.

Feeling so down can sometimes make us think about things in different ways and you would have the right to get some help around these feelings.

This can’t be an easy time for you at all right now. It is important to know that there are services that are available to you, that could help explore your feelings. Services such as and are services that specialise in talking with young people who feel very similar to how you are feeling. In addition to that here at the Ispcc we have our phone and text service which is available 24/7 days a week. Do you feel you might be able to make contact with us to chat a little more around these feelings?

Is there anyone in your life that you feel you might be able to talk to about what is going on?  Have you ever been in a position where you had to talk to somebody in the past and you feel that maybe they might be a support to you right now.

Reaching out to Ask Pat today is very brave of you and it is a real positive step.  Please know that there is help there for you and we are here at Childline if you feel you might like to talk some more.

Best wishes
