What will happen if I tell?

You have the right to be helped and supported. It’s hard to know what will happen if you tell someone what is going on, but that person should try to help keep you from being abused again.  If you want to stop the abuse and do not trust anyone else, you could tell a social worker or garda what is happening. Their job is to help you, and keep you safe.

You may be worried that no one will believe you. But you have a right to be believed. If you tell someone and they don't believe you, tell someone else. Keep telling until someone listens. Here in Childline we will always believe you.
