I Need Help

If you feel lonely there are things you can do to make yourself feel better and change what is happening in your life.
Remember that change can take time.

  • Make a list of what makes you feel lonely. If you know why you feel lonely you can start to look at what you can do.
  • Try and get involved in things like school activities, clubs or a part time job.
  • Talk to other people when you get a chance.
  • Remember that every person is different and has something to offer – this includes you.
  • If there is something happening for you that you feel you cannot tell anyone else you may feel isolated from other people. You have a right to get help and support, and it is always ok to tell if something is happening to you.
  • Talk to someone you trust about how you feel
  • Have a look around and have a think about what you're interested in
