If there is an emergency, 999 or 112 will give you an immediate response from the Gardai.  If you are in danger or being hurt you have the right to contact the Gardai and get help.

The Gardai have a FreePhone number that allows you to leave information on a voice recorder so that you do not have to speak to a person or leave your name or contact details.  The FreePhone confidential number is 1800 666 111
