I Have Too Much Homework

Homework is an important part of life in school. The aim of homework is for you to practice what you have learnt that day in school and to remember it. It can help you to work independently and to learn to develop good study skills.
It's also your teachers' way of finding out how much you understand of what's going on in class. If you are having difficulties with your homework you have the right to tell someone such as your parents or teachers.
Everyone learns at a different pace and some people find some things more difficult than others to understand. If you need extra help, the most important thing to know is that there's no reason to be embarrassed about it. No one is expected to understand everything, and each person has very different learning styles.
There are many different people that can help you with your homework. It all depends on who you are comfortable going to for help. It can help to think back to who you usually talk to or where you usually go when you have a question or a problem. Your teacher is there during school hours if there is something that you do not understand. So if you get stuck on something, make a note of it and don’t forget to mention it to your teacher. Sometimes older family members can be a good place to go for help if you are having a problem with some homework.
