This part of the website is where you can chat live with someone in Childline. We ask that you stick to nicknames or first names so that we can make sure it stays between you and Childline.

We ask that when you leave a message to stick to a nickname because if you give us your real name, your address, your school or your teachers and tell us something that makes us worried then we will have to pass the information onto someone who can help. If you stick to a nickname then your message stays private. So, stay safe by sticking to your nickname and we can talk with you about your options.

If someone is available there will be a flashing box for you to click on.  If no one is available, the easiest way to contact us is to write us a message here on the website or to ring us on 1800 66 66 66.
