Hi babiicakes,

You are very welcome back to Childline Online,

Thank you for your email, you mentioned that the feelings are getting really bad since talking to us. We understand that talking about things and putting words to our feelings can be hard but it is also be a way of helping ourselves to deal with things.

You also said in your email that you feel you can’t find the words to express how you are feeling to the people you feel you need to talk to. You have been very clear with Childline and have expressed yourself very well to us.

You also said that you don’t want people worrying, it’s natural that you don’t want to worry people but it is important to seek help when we need it. You have the right to this help and it can be in a number of different way for example face to face, or by writing it down. You can also get help from different places like for example a trusted adult such as parent, aunt or uncle or a neighbour or from your local doctor or professional services who are there to help you through difficult times.

You also said that you wish to go to college but you feel your parents don’t have the money, perhaps talking this over with your parents, your school, the college you would like to go to or your local authority you may find out what you can do and what financial supports exist for you.

We are always here to listen, feel free to contact us again. Take care of yourself
