What is Bullying?
You are here: Home » Support » Bullying
Bullying is when someone says or does things to hurt someone else and have power over them. It can happen in a lot of different ways and it can happen to anyone. There is no one type of person that gets bullied. No one has the right to hurt you or make you feel bad, at home, at school, at your youth club or anywhere else.
No matter what is going in in your life, if you're feeling bad or uncomfortable or if someone is hurting you, you always have the right to tell someone who can help you keep safe. We know it's not always easy to tell, and sometimes it's hard to know what to do. We're here 24 hours a day in Childline to listen and talk with you about what you'd like to happen. You're always welcome to give us a ring on 1800 66 66 66 or check out the Talk to Us page and leave us a message.
